Collaboration visit to Centro Avanzado de Tecnologías Aeroespaciales (CATEC)
This week, some members of our group had the privilege of visiting the facilities of the Advanced Centre for Aerospace Technologies (CATEC)
During the visit, we explored the avionics and additive materials departments up close. We were shown exciting drone applications that the CATEC team is working on, as well as in their test area, where future technologies are being developed.
One of the highlights was the tour of the metal 3D manufacturing machinery, where we witnessed the magic of 3D printing with truly impressive results. The ability to manufacture metal components with precision and efficiency opens up a world of possibilities for the materialisation of our RF designs.
This visit was not only educational, but also reflects the strong partnership our group has established with CATEC. We are excited about the ongoing exchange of ideas and the synergy we are building together.
